Meryl Streep Gave An Oscar-Worthy Performance By Simply Watching The U.S. Open 😂

If they gave Oscars for best actress in a starring role: Meme—Meryl Streep would win several times over.

This time she stole the show at a sporting event—the U.S. Open. Just as the Mamma Mia 2 star was settling in, watching Novak Djokovic take on Juan Martin del Potro in the Men’s Singles U.S. Open final at Flushing Meadows, the telecast found her in the crowd and decided to not only get a little reaction footage but to chat a bit about Streep while they were at it.

Turns out, it was a pretty smart move because whether she’s on stage, up on the screen, in the audience, or on the sidelines—the Queen of Meme just does not disappoint.

Check out the 69-year-old’s utterly fabulous reaction to the intense match:

Twitter was ignited by Streep’s pure reactions and how caught up in it all she seemed to be:

She just so compellingly embodies what we’re all feeling:

Even Entourage’s Jerry Ferrara thought Streep deserved an award:

Not only was her reaction to the match a hit with fans but her reaction to hearing the announcers talk about her reactions on the sidelines was completely meta-licious:

And it was only a matter of time before somebody said it out loud:

We love you, Meryl.
