Hollywood couple John Krasinski and Emily Blunt have a romance almost as special as Jim Halpert and Pam Beesly, so no one could ever come between them, right? Well, maybe not.
At this weekend’s Variety magazine Variety Studio: Actors on Actors event, Blunt found herself cozied up to a leading man who wasn’t her husband, and things got a bit too close for Krasinski’s comfort.
In attendance was none other than Wolverine himself and star of The Front Runner, Hugh Jackman, who posed for several pictures with Blunt.

Jackman seemed delighted to spend some time with the Mary Poppins Returns star and later posted one of the pics to Twitter with the caption “Had the pleasure of chatting with the amazing EMILY BLUNT today.”
Krasinski’s response could not have been better.

Krasinski replied to the tweet, jokingly pointing out that Jackman was getting a little too friendly with his wife, saying, “Eeeeeeasy Hugh… not sure this is what @Variety meant with #ActorsonActors….Don’t make me think I can hurt you.”
But things didn’t end there.
Never one to miss a chance to roast Hugh Jackman, Ryan Reynolds joined the thread.
This is a call to action. This man must be stopped.

This was just the latest shot fired in Reynolds’ longstanding and hilarious fake feud with Jackman across social media. Earlier this month Reynolds posted a fake campaign ad to convince judges to vote for him and not Jackman come awards season.

Two leading men sharing one thread was impressive enough, but three was almost too much for people.
Twitter grabbed a chair, broke out the popcorn, and watched as the fray unfolded.
Deadpool and Mr. Fantastic (hopefully?) team up against Wolverine? I'm in! pic.twitter.com/dpAt0xsaOH

Friendly feud or not, Twitter seemed ready for a throw down.

People even started to place bets on who would win in the end.
🤣🤣. You should know by now that he cannot be stopped Ryan 😁 pic.twitter.com/RFYseg9A0e

It looked like it might start heating up there for a moment but things cooled down before anything got out of hand.
But one wonders how Emily Blunt felt being caught in the middle of the three feuding men.
