This Text Message Conversation Shown On A Bus To Lin-Manuel Miranda Is Honestly The Best ❤️

How calm could you stay if you encountered one of your favorite celebrities in real life?

If you’re this fan, you stay real chill.

Lin-Manuel Miranda, best known for the musical Hamilton and composing the music for Moana, often posts about his adventures on New York City public transportation.

This time he was taking the bus because, as he put it:

“the A [train] is f***ed today…”

The man next to him was apparently a fan of Miranda. He sent a group message to his “Juggler & Dads” group informing them of his luck meeting the musical celeb.

His friend, Bobby Perrotti, couldn’t handle it and mashed his caps lock key responding:

“TELL HIM YOU LOVE HIS WORK”

“HUGE FAN OF YOUR WORK”

“THANK YOU FOR MOANA”

“AND FOR HAMILTON”

“DAMNIT JAY SAY IT”

“THANK YOU FOR MOANA”

“YOUR FRIEND HAS A COUPLE CUTE KIDS THAT KNOW WHAT A HERO LOOKS LIKE AND A HERO IS A GIRL.”

Bobby is more than willing to cop to his excitement.

The man on the bus slyly showed the group chat to Miranda, letting the musical dad know he’s very appreciated by his own group of fellow fathers. It’s this covert handling of the situation that earned the fan bonus points with the Miranda and the internet.

Miranda was on the bus with his son, Sebastian, and this move was appreciated. It helped protect Miranda’s son from being overwhelmed by the situation.

People really loved it.

Miranda can be seen in the new film Mary Poppins Returns. He plays a character named Jack, a former apprentice of chimney sweep Burt from the original film.

He stars alongside Emily Blunt, Ben Whishaw and Emily Mortimer.
