Fans Are Loving Henry Cavill’s Super-Adorable ‘Aquaman’ Impression

Superman actor Henry Cavill recently posted an adorable tribute to Aquaman by taking an aquatic selfie with a fork as his mighty trident.

Cavill posted the snap in Instagram with this caption:

“Channelling the man of the hour, the man of big hugs, big laughs and big pints of Guinness, my man Jason Momoa.”

“How’d I do?”

“Seriously though, I just finally got the chance to watch Aquaman here in Hungary. Jason, James and everyone involved in that movie, smashes it out of the (water) park.”

“If you haven’t seen it yet, go check it out. Jason, love you bro, you crushed it.”

Henry’s hilarious Aquaman selfie in the pool, a take on one of the movie’s publicity photos, quickly became an instant classic.

Fans of the actors were tickled by the dorky tribute from Superman to Aquaman.

And people provided the side by side comparison.

Aquaman made quite a splash at the box-office following its release in December.

People are loving Aquaman’s standalone film after his appearance in 2017’s Justice League.

Justice League—featuring Batman, Wonder Woman, the Flash and Aquaman reviving Cavill’s Superman after Batman vs Superman: Dawn of Justice—is now available on 4K and other formats here.

Fans are praising the special effects featured in Aquaman for their realistic rendering of numerous sea creatures in lifelike underwater environments.

The film’s computer graphics have been described as “stunning” and “snazzy” on Twitter, with some calling them the best they’ve ever seen in a movie.

But some are upset Aquaman was snubbed by the Oscars in the VFX category.

Nobody can outdo Jason Momoa as the resident king of Atlantis, but we’re glad Henry Cavill gave it a shot.

His hilariously epic selfie gives even more power to the tidal wave of success behind Aquaman.
