‘The Situation’ From ‘Jersey Shore’ Just Posted Some Photos From Prison, And He Seems To Be Having A Grand Old Time

Remember Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino from Jersey Shore? Remember his abs?

Currently, Mike and those abs are serving an eight-month prison sentence for tax evasion.  Yikes!

So, like any big influencer, he has to give us social media updates. He even posted on his Instagram from prison.

Yes, you heard that correctly. He posted. On his Instagram. From prison.

How? We don’t know.

Seems like you shouldn’t be able to do that.

The pictures were with his wife, and then with Vinny Guadagnino and DJ Pauly D, his castmates from Jersey Shore.

He then added the hashtag #FreeSitch.

You’re the one who evaded your taxes, sir.  Ain’t nobody wanting to free you.

Except, because it’s America in 2019 and people have zero standards, some people do.

His sentence, which began in October, has already lasted for seven months, so he’s about one month away from being a #freesitch.

Still, pay your taxes, folks.

And don’t encourage people to evade theirs…

The Sorrentino brothers — Mike and Marc — were indicted in 2014 when they failed to pay taxes on over $8 million worth of income.

The brothers also received heavy fines.

“Lying to and defrauding the federal government is a very serious crime, regardless of a defendant’s celebrity status,” Principal Deputy Assistant Attorney General Zuckerman said in a Justice Department press release.

“The Sorrentino brothers chose to use Michael’s fame to benefit themselves at the expense of the American taxpayer, and with the help of our federal partners, they were held accountable.”

Does “The Situation” feel accountable?  I guess we will see if he pays his taxes once he’s #freeSitch again.
