Remember Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino from Jersey Shore? Remember his abs?
So, like any big influencer, he has to give us social media updates. He even posted on his Instagram from prison.
Yes, you heard that correctly. He posted. On his Instagram. From prison.
How? We don’t know.
Seems like you shouldn’t be able to do that.
He then added the hashtag #FreeSitch.
You’re the one who evaded your taxes, sir. Ain’t nobody wanting to free you.

Except, because it’s America in 2019 and people have zero standards, some people do.

Your current situation is not your final destination. #FreeSitch

His sentence, which began in October, has already lasted for seven months, so he’s about one month away from being a #freesitch.
Still, pay your taxes, folks.
And don’t encourage people to evade theirs…
Oh my gosh 😂😂 I knew he was in trouble, but didn’t know he actually went to prison. #FreeSitch

The brothers also received heavy fines.

That’s awesome to see! You guys have been through some hard times, and your weathering the storm #FreeSitch

“Lying to and defrauding the federal government is a very serious crime, regardless of a defendant’s celebrity status,” Principal Deputy Assistant Attorney General Zuckerman said in a Justice Department press release.
“The Sorrentino brothers chose to use Michael’s fame to benefit themselves at the expense of the American taxpayer, and with the help of our federal partners, they were held accountable.”
Does “The Situation” feel accountable? I guess we will see if he pays his taxes once he’s #freeSitch again.
