Looking for some 6′ 4″, Haka dancing, Dothraki eye candy?
Jason Momoa’s got your back.
The Aquaman actor is known for his rippling biceps and washboard abs.
Here’s a picture just in case you need a refresher… or you just want to stare at his beauty.

But recently, the internet trolls have pounced on this Hawaiian god after a vacation picture of his began circulating.
According to these houligans, Momoa is now fat and should be ashamed of his embarrassing physique.
Jason Mamoa is getting body shamed on the internet today for this picture of him on vacation bc he’s “fat now” and has a “dad bod”… and I’m officially never taking my shirt off ever again as long as I live. Not even in the shower. pic.twitter.com/pXABzgH0Yt

Ok, sorry, but WHAT?!
As Men’s Health put it,
“Actors might be praised for the impressive transformations they undergo to play the leading man, but what gets forgotten along the way is the time, effort, and resources that go into maintaining that superhero physique. And when shooting ends, so too does the exhausting training regime.”
In fact, another famous hottie with a body (Zac Efron, I’m looking at you boo) talked in depth about how the diets and workouts he did for Baywatch put him in a terrible mood.
“My mood was terrible. In retrospect I can look back now and say that. People weren’t telling me I was mean or anything, but I could feel that lack of carbohydrate.”
Luckily plenty of Jason’s fans are sensible enough to realize that his workout and diet plans aren’t sustainable for the long term, and they have rallied behind him to defend his “dad bod.”
THESE are the photos people are body shaming Momoa for? Cause he happens to be regular ‘in very good shape’ and not ‘demigod’ shape? Also, he’s not flexing! Flexing has a huge impact on how abs look! https://t.co/WShpuYqv6p

If I had half the body Jason Momoa has in the picture, I'd literally never wear a shirt again. https://t.co/msckFaJoFH

This is what actors (& models & bodybuilders) do. If you see them with razor cut abs, they have been on a low carb, water-reducing diet to get there. You cannot retain that and be healthy.
When we shot WOLVES, Jason asked me, "Do I have to have abs n' shit for this?"
I said no. https://t.co/rkMfoPZIhV

100 percent can confirm. Maintaining single digit(even the 10-12%) body fat percentage levels are extremely high maintenance life styles, even I, a commited bodybuilder struggle to maintain that super leanness. Think about that if you've never forgetten what bread tastes like https://t.co/IjaBmCMweO

Unrealistic body expectations is no longer a female-only thing culturally. The idea that male actors have to be muscled up & chiseled for almost any role is really really new, but seems here to stay. https://t.co/8SsDnmlJbt

Body shaming is NOT OK for any gender; mumtums, dad bods, non-parenting related love handles, and non-binary bodies, of all skin tones and sizes, are ALL worthy of enjoying time on the beach without anyone critiquing them. https://t.co/bxKFCn8pj0

All YOU people throwing fat shade on our Polynesian prince need to back the truck up. You wish you were as handsome & likeable as he is. So stoopid 😉 https://t.co/Nf2aKVIZej

Don’t body shame Jason Momoa. Better yet, don’t body shame.https://t.co/EFKcHaq8an

If Jason Momoa is getting body shamed for this, I don’t think I can ever take my shirt off again. Ever. 😂 pic.twitter.com/truntQ1Pgl

Body shaming is never OK, but shaming someone for not maintaining an unsustainable and unhealthy lifestyle is madness.
Jason, you still look great to me!
