Trump’s Latest Tweet About Global Warming Makes It Clear He Has No Idea How Climate Change Works 😒

The United States President, Donald Trump is being roasted like a Thanksgiving turkey over what many consider a shockingly ignorant statement on climate change. This week, after returning from the fire-ravaged town of Paradise, California (Which Trump repeatedly referred to as “Pleasure”, and said we needed to “rake” the forest like the Finnish) he posted to Twitter the following statement:

“Brutal and Extended Cold Blast could shatter ALL RECORDS – Whatever happened to Global Warming?”

This comes after comments he made at the scene of the fire when asked by a reporter if his views on climate change may differ after seeing the vast destruction:

“No, no, I have a strong opinion. I want a great climate… Is it happening? Things are changing and I think, most importantly, we’re doing things about. We’re going to make it better. We’re going to make it a lot better. And it’s going to happen as quickly as it can possibly happen.”

This latest tweet comes after Trump earlier in the week blamed forest management for the fires and threatened to stop giving federal money to maintain the forests.

Trump’s tweet of misinformation was widely criticized by the International Association of Firefighters.  Brian K. Rice, President of the association said about the tweet:

“His comments are reckless and insulting to the firefighters and people being affected. The President’s message attacking California and threatening to withhold aid to the victims of the cataclysmic fires is ill-informed, ill-timed and demeaning to those who are suffering as well as the men and women on the front lines. In my view, this shameful attack on California is an attack on all our courageous men and women on the front lines.”

It would seem firefighters should now be added to the long list of people, including Colin Kaepernick, the late John McCain, and Taylor Swift, Trump supporters can no longer support.

People have come to their wit’s end with Trump’s ongoing tweets which appear to only have one purpose, distraction, and misinformation. This latest one is doing just that but many are on hand to make the correction.

Of course when it affects his pocketbook opinions can change.

As much as the tweets are an attempt to distract we should all be very concerned with the real consequences.

Perhaps ask the kids.

Some folks are out of words and relied on memes and gifs.

Just another week in Trump’s America.
