“I believe Jesus would approve gay marriage. That’s just my own personal opinion.”
Former President Jimmy Carter said that, probably between building houses for Habitat for Humanity. The quote may be from 2015, but that didn’t stop evangelist Franklin Graham, son of the late Billy Graham, from taking to Facebook to spread homophobic vitriol.
Fortunately, social media isn’t taking his words lying down.

Hey Mr. Homophobic
You are a poor excuse for a man.
MY God loves me as a heterosexual man. I will stand by the LGBTQ community proudly with honor. All you/your “faith” does is project shame.
Go put yourself in a headlock & sincerely attempt to self-abort.

You probably shouldn’t be preaching hate and homophobia then. Supporting the big baby in the White House doesn’t help your case either.

And they weren’t afraid to bring his father into it either.
Perhaps they just know you are a hate preaching homophobic charlatan just like your father was.

Jesus would spit on @Franklin_Graham if they passed on the street. There is NOTHING Christian about that #falseprophet and the hate he preaches. He is 10x worse than his bigot father – this guy is a freaking Nazi.

Franklin Graham is no more than a bible-thumping bigot like his father, @BillyGraham
— PeterCallesen (@Petreblue) July 13, 2018
@Franklin_Graham is just like his glory-hound, exploitative, bigot of a father. They couldn’t be more anti-Christ.

Graham may be facing harsh criticism, but somehow we think Carter will be too presidential to respond.
