The Hadid Family Recreated An Iconic ‘Beetlejuice’ Scene To Show Off The Best NY Fashion Week Looks

Individually and as a family the Hadids always know how to get noticed—even, it seems, in the crush of fashion week.

Fabulous fashionistas Gigi, Bella, and Anwar Hadid joined their mother, former model and Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star, Yolanda, for a bit of goofy fun in homage to both Beetlejuice and New York Fashion Week (NYFW) in a video parody for Vogue Magazine

The video, screenshots of which were posted to Gigi Hadid’s Instagram and uploaded to Vogue‘s YouTube channel, mirrors the iconic dinner table scene from 1988’s hit Tim Burton film, Beetlejuice, in which possessed dinner guests begin singing and dancing uncontrollably to Harry Belafonte‘s “Banana Boat Song” (“Day-O”).

At the video’s start, the matriarch calls into a megaphone:

Rise and shine children. Time for dinner.

As the supermodels arrive in high fashion at the table, Bella, who is texting, is admonished gently by her mother:

No phones, baby, at the dinner table.

Gigi looks at Bella and says:

Those are my earrings.

Bella replies:

No, Rodarte sent these to me.

Anwar then looks at his reflection on the back of a large a spoon, to which Bella snipes:

Anwar, you know we can see you, right?

And then they move on to the film’s iconic dance number.

Check it out for yourself:

While Director Bardia Zeinali made a few minor changes to the scene, adding Hadid-specific dialogue and swapping out shrimp cocktails to the face for unveiled dinner plates containing the Hadids’ heads, the tribute proceeds in otherwise similar fashion to its predecessor, featuring all the hip-rolling-tushie-shaking-lip-syncing goodness you’d expect.

Fashion editor Jorden Bickham also seems to have made sure the Hadids’ NYFW wear was equally as memorable as the ensembles worn in the original motion picture.

Fans went wild for the throwback-style video, titled “Hadid! Hadid!Hadid!”

But one Hadid in particular emerged the victor:
