Lindsey Graham’s 2016 Comments About Merrick Garland Have The Internet Pouncing On His Hypocrisy

Lindsey Graham has been an outspoken Kavanaugh supporter throughout the entire Kavanaugh sexual assault allegation ordeal.

Judge Brett Kavanaugh has been accused by multiple women of committing sexual assault. He has also been caught lying under oath about his relationship to his Alma Mater, Yale.

Throughout the many scandals over the past few weeks, Senator Graham has stood behind Kavanaugh.

Yesterday, Graham took to Twitter to speak about the supposed unfairness being exhibited toward his buddy, Brett.

But it seems that Graham has had a memory lapse.

In 2016, the Senator spoke out on Twitter regarding President Obama’s nomination of Merrick Garland for the Supreme Court.

In the video, Graham talks about why he was willing to hold a Supreme Court seat vacant until after the then-upcoming election:

Let the voters have a say about who they’d like to be the next Supreme Court Justice.

His statements in the video are in direct contrast to his defense of Kavanaugh’s nomination.

The Senator may have forgotten his previous statement, but Twitter has been quick to remind him of his hypocrisy.

And they were quick to remind Graham of other statements he made in the past:

Because the Internet doesn’t forget.
