Houston Real Estate Agent Faces Backlash For Using Racy Photos Of Fitness Model To Market A Home For Sale

Krysten Gyldenege, based out of Houston, Texas, pulled a brave move most of us could only dream of when she hired two fitness models to take slightly under-dressed photos in order to advertise her real estate business.

According to Gyldenege, who also took the photos herself, they helped secure six house showings the day they were posted.

“I wanted to represent a young couple who was on top of their game all the way around and who had just moved into this great house,” said Gyldenege.

The home was reportedly on the market for 40 days and hadn’t received much, if any, attention.  Once she put up the listing she got plenty of attention–over 100 complaints.

The listing was eventually pulled from the website due to the number of complaints.

“[Potential buyers] may not look like [the models], but if they think they could look like that in this house, they would be more attracted to at least see it.”

Meanwhile, children are being tear gassed at the border, and we wonder if the people who complained of Gyldenege’s models have said anything about the administration authorizing an illegal attack on immigrants.

What’s your take on using physical appeal to sell anything-whether it be a house or a piece of chocolate?
