Did someone say Daddy Day Care?
Eddie Murphy spent the holiday season with those who matter most—all of his children. All 10 of his children.
That’s right, the famous actor and comedian has 10 children in total.
He had five children with his ex-wife Nicole Mitchell Murphy:
Bella Zahra (16), Zola Ivy (19), Shayne Audra (24), Miles Mitchell (26), and Bria (29).
Actress, model and designer Nicole filed for divorce, ending their 13 year marriage in 2006.
Murphy also fathered:
Eric (29)—the oldest of his children—with Paulette McNeely, Christian (28) with Tamara Hood and Angel Iris (11) with former Spice Girl Melanie “Mel B” Brown.
Murphy welcomed his most recent adorable additions with his fiancée, Australian actress and model Paige Butcher, whom he has been dating since 2012.
Butcher and Murphy have:
2-year-old daughter Izzy Oona and one-month-old Max Charles.
Oldest daughter Bria shared the rare photo of the whole family on Instagram, along with a short, sweet and simple caption “Merry Christmas!!!”
‘Tis the season to get the whole family together and spend some quality time with each other!

People admired his huge, happy family.

And the fact that the funny man finally has a close-knit relationship with all of his children—even when he has so many of them.
…his well taken care of 10 kids. I’m just sayin’.

It’s sweet he has such a good relationship with them regardless of how many there are.

In fact, a couple of users pointed out that he is only two children away from forming a football team.
Just one more child, he can form his Murphy’s Football Team.

The Oscar nominee—for his performance in Dreamgirls—named his most recent child in memory of his late older brother Charlie, who passed from leukemia in April of 2017.
Charles Quinton Murphy was also an actor and a comedian. He starred alongside his younger brother in Norbit, along with other acting credits like Night at the Museum and Beverly Hills Cop II.
Charlie made regular appearances on and wrote for the sketch comedy series Chappelle’s Show. The Comedy Central series is seeing a bit of a renaissance, introducing new audiences to the talents of Charlie Murphy. The complete series is available here.
The seasonal snap is the only one Bria shared which includes Eddie’s two youngest babies and shows how much his family has grown over the years.
Some are saying the 57-year-old took Daddy Day Care to a whole new level.
He took daddy day care a little to seriously

The family patriarch posed for a separate photo with his oldest children which Bria also shared.
Pictured are Eric, Eddie, Miles, Christian and Bria who range in age from 29 – 26.
And then one with five of his six daughters.
Pictured are Bella, Eddie, Zola, Bria, Shayne and Angel.
Bria noted in the caption that Izzy was missing—we can assume that the 2-year-old was more than done with sitting still for photographs for the day.
But I think we can all agree that the photo showcasing the entire family is the most heartwarming of all.
