A Viral Tweet Just Sent An Old Fleetwood Mac Tune Skyrocketing Up The Charts

Fleetwood Mac has broken up, reformed itself, broken up again, and reformed itself again. The most famous version of the band though is when Stevie Nicks led it between the years of 1975 and 1991. In that period, all of our ears were graced with the song “Dreams”, which was part of the album Rumours, released in 1977. It was their highest charting song, hitting number one on the Billboard Hot 100.

Well, thanks to this March 22nd tweet that went viral, the song is back on the charts nearly 41 years later…

In fact, the tweet’s popularity was so beneficial that the song ended up hitting number 14 on the Billboard Top 100 Rock Songs chart.

People got really nostalgic about Fleetwood Mac…

And one person was even able to ID the university this was at as well as the person leading the dance while lavishing praise on Fleetwood Mac…

Others just had praise for the women dancing…

And tons of people saw themselves in the video…

Thank you Twitter for bringing this song back into our lives.
