Red Bull better watch out — there’s a new drink on the market that’s so in demand peeps are petitioning to guzzle its tasty greatness.
A Change.org user, Innes Mck, is responsible for the petition, which is a plea to drink the thick, soupy fluid found in the recently unearthed Egyptian sarcophagus. Yes, you read that correctly and yes, people are insane.
The petition states:
We need to drink the red liquid from the cursed dark sarcophagus in the form of some sort of carbonated energy drink so we can assume its powers and finally die.
As of Monday morning, the petition had gathered a whopping 17,500 supporters, despite the fact that the mucky, reddish sludge is reportedly sewage water, which, according to the Egyptian Ministry of Antiquities, explains why the mummies had been reduced to skeletons.

A true believer, Innes Mck would have none of the sewage water theory, saying:
Please stop trying to tell me the skeleton juice is mostly sewage thats impossible everyone knows skeletons cannot poop.
Others on Twitter found some humor in the situation:
okay so you mean to tell me that you'll drink nasty ass red skeleton juice but you wont eat the brown part of a banana… pic.twitter.com/I7sUl6MJEp

Unfortunately, the opportunity to consume this nectar from the netherworld (or nether regions) may already have passed. As reported by HuffPost, a video posted on YouTube by an Egyptian news outlet shows a man dumping containers of the liquid onto the street.
