Sarah Huckabee Sanders’s ‘Bad Lip Reading’ Is Comedic Gold

Bad Lip Reading” is a YouTube channel self-described as “I put words into other people’s mouths.”

They debuted their first dubbing over 7 years ago when they re-wrote and dubbed over Rebecca Black’s “Friday” in a new version titled “Gang Fight”.

Other popular videos have been Bad Lip Readings of Hunger Games, the first Republican debate in 2015, various sports commentaries and the Royal Wedding.

The videos have garnered more than 1 billion views and the YouTube channel has over 7 million subscribers.

Bad Lip Reading’s latest video is one of Sarah Huckabee Sanders’ press conferences. The video debuted after Sanders took a lot of criticism for attempts to defend Trump after the announcement of Paul Manafort being guilty on 8 counts and Michael Cohen’s guilty plea.

Because of the timing, the video quickly went viral. In the YouTube video description, Bad Lip Reading stated:

“How White House press briefings sound in Sarah Huckabee Sanders’ head…”

Check it out.

Possibly the most hilarious thing about this Bad Lip Reading is not just the typical gibberish, but the fact that it sounds like a hilariously accurate internal monologue for Press Secretary Sanders.

The nicknames for reporters like “Chomp”, “Creature”, “Sasquatch Steven” and “Chocolate Curl” along with the lines “I need a drink” and “OK, idiots, are you ready?” don’t seem like a far cry from what Sanders must be thinking during an onslaught of questions she has no actual—or factual—answers for.

The internet can’t get enough of this latest effort.

As Kevin Arnold said above, the video seems to be the ultimate reach across the aisle.

Even Sanders’ father, former Arkansas governor Mike Huckabee, posted the video on Twitter.

I guess some humor can be appreciated by all.
