Macaulay Culkin, of Home Alone fame, seems to be revisiting that part of his life. He recently starred in a Google advertisement on YouTube for the Google Home, seen below.
He also reminisced on Twitter about the unforeseen consequences of his appearance in the film.
I feel bad about all the burglars who never had the confidence to rob a house on christmas thanks to me.

On the flipside though. You have probably made homeowners feel a lot safer at this time of year.

Some take pity on the burglars; others simply mock them.
Okay, the FIRST time? *Maybe*, "poor Marv and Harry"; They didn't know what they were getting into there. Second movie? Buddy, they knew what they were up against. Nobody to blame but themselves for THAT one. 🤣

And now I'm all alone on Christmas with no burglars to keep me company smh
