E!’s Misnaming Of Jameela Jamil During The Golden Globes Red Carpet Was The Ultimate ‘Good Place’ Troll 😂

Jameela Jamil, the fabulous 32-year-old English actress best known for her portrayal of Tahani Al-Jamil on the acclaimed TV series The Good Place, was hardcore trolled by E! during Sunday night’s Golden Globes ceremony.

Jamil’s character on the show lives constantly the shadow of her older sister, Kamilah al-Jamil, which comprises the bulk of Tahani’s struggles to be a better person.  Tahani struggles to make a name for herself while Kamilah seemingly gets everything she wants effortlessly.

So when E! intentionally called her “Kamilah al-Jamil” on the red carpet, the reactions were magnificent.

Jamil thought it was hilarious, saying Tahani “would die.”

The internet at large also savored the next-level trolling.

Blurring the lines between reality and The Good Place is brilliant because something like this would happen to Tahani.

The Good Place is nearing the end of its third season, with two episodes left to air. The series is so popular that NBC has already renewed it for a fourth season over the 2019-2020 timeline.

Does this mean E! executives are reporting live from The Bad Place?

Need to catch up on Tahani’s journey? The full series, including the most recent episodes of season 3, is available on Hulu.

Happy watching, friends.  Enjoy the forking ride.
