It’s back to school season! ‘First day back’ pictures are flooding all of our social media platforms. But this means back to school for teachers as well as students.
Well, Jennifer Lee decided to commemorate her husband going back to school by having him take a photo with a sign that reads…
“Tyrelle’s 1,080th day of teaching”
It goes on to list other hilarious fun facts about Tyrelle including that he’s 32 years old, he loves football, and he can’t believe his wife made him do this.
You can see for yourself on Facebook…
Tyrelle is an 8th grade social studies teacher in North Carolina. And, at first, when his wife told him that she was going to make him a back to school sign, he thought she was joking.
Lee told Huffington Post…
“I see parents posting pictures like this of their kids all the time, and I think they are adorable. Our daughter isn’t quite school-age yet, so I thought with Tyrelle going back to school to teach a new year, it would be funny to make him do a picture with his very own sign! He always goes with the flow, so I figured he would go along with my plan, even if he wasn’t thrilled about it!”
Needless to say, people were amused…
And Tyrelle is certainly in good company with the first day of school excitement…
