The character of Deadpool famously beat cancer back in 2016. Now, actor Ryan Reynolds, who portrayed the Marvel anti-hero, and the rest of the crew for the film Deadpool are joining forces with Omaze in an effort to raise money for the charity, F*ck Cancer.
Reynolds appeared in a PSA sporting a pink Deadpool suit to raise awareness for early detection of cancer by encouraging fans to check their testicles and breast. F*ck Cancer also provides support for patients and families living with cancer.
During the PSA Reynolds announces the suit he is wearing will be given away in a drawing. Other merchandise is also up for sale, as well as Reynolds recording an outgoing message for the winners voicemail. In the video, Reynolds uses some cheeky humor, saying:
You may be wondering ‘Why the pink suit?’ Well, so the world can see I have a big old heart-on. That’s heart with a ‘T’, for my new favorite color, pink. The color, not the singer. Personally I’m more of a Celine guy.
He goes on to give suggestions for the suits uses:
Will you add it to your weekly wardrobe rotation? Does it become a colorful addition to your S&M dungeon? Or will you simply nail it to a post in order to scare away birds, children, and the elderly.

Some folks didn’t have extra cash, but sharing the message is also a way to give.
