Disney is working hard to be a force for good in the world by launching a new charity initiative that invites fans to get involved in helping UNICEF and Starlight Children’s Foundation support and improve the lives of children around the globe. It’s called Force for Change and its challenging Star Wars fans everywhere to #RoarforChange ahead of the May 25th release of Solo: A Star Wars Story.
You can visit the Force for Change website to find out more details but in a nutshell fans are being asked to upload their best Chewbacca impression to Facebook, Instagram, or Twitter. Then, for every public post that is hash-tagged with #RoarForChange from now until May 25, a $1 donation will be made to UNICEF, up to $1 million.
Disney kicked things off with a behind-the-scenes video narrated by Solo Director, Ron Howard:
In the video, Howard hypes Chewie’s storyline as:
Without a doubt, this is Chewbacca’s best role ever.
Playing the role of a young, dashing Lando Calrissian, Donald Glover adds:
Chewie is a complete diva.
