The Millennium Falcon Is Casually Parked On Hollywood Blvd, And Fans Are Geeking Out

Solo: A Star Wars Story had its world premier on Thursday in Los Angeles and Hollywood rolled out more than just the red carpet. A giant Millennium Falcon was parked on Hollywood Boulevard, blocking traffic.  

Aerial photo journalist, Stu Mundel, captured this image of the ship:

Best known as a smuggling vessel piloted by Han Solo and his first mate, Chewbacca, the ship was originally owned by Lando Calrissiana before Han won it in a card game. The modified YT-1300 Corellian light freighter (in geek speak) is so iconic it’s practically a character in its own right. 

This latest installment of the Star Wars franchise (widespread release: May 25th) offers a glimpse of the ship when it was still new and owned by Lando. 

Of course fans are stoked to see it parked on Hollywood Blvd:
