One thing is certain, Kanye West is the king of unpredictability. The rapper has stirred up plenty of controversy lately with his comments that “slavery is a choice” and his praising of Donald Trump as a “dragon brother.
Now it seems he is switching it up once more sending out a tweet of the 17 U.N. Sustainable Development Goals meant to end extreme poverty, improve the environment and be rid of once and for all, inequality by the year 2030.
The goals were created in 2015, and West’s tweeting of them three years later has some in the global development community wondering what is going on.

People definitely had some thoughts as to West’s bigger plan.
I think Kanye has been secretly plotting this since the beginning of his twitter meltdown: secret plan to create enough momentum and attention around his tweets and then suddently start promoting the SDGs @kanyewest I know what you're doing 😉

There is a theory that Kanye is currently in the middle of a performance art piece I sincerely hope the SDGs are a bigger part of this https://t.co/tRj92ZxbkG

For it’s part the UN was simply happy for the support.
Props to @kanyewest for using his platform to spread awareness about the #SDGs! These are crucial goals for every country to follow! #17Goals1Future https://t.co/PTHLHpBewm
