Tributes Pour In After ‘The Goldbergs’ Actor Jackson Odell Is Found Dead At Age 20

Actor Jackson Odell who is best known for playing Ari Caldwell on ABC’s The Goldbergs, was found unresponsive at a sober living facility in Tarzana, California. He is dead at the age of 20. 

There is an ongoing investigation into the cause of his death.

Odell’s family released a statement asking for privacy:

The Odell family has lost our beloved son and brother, Jackson Odell, on Friday,” the statement reads. “He will always be a shining light and a brilliant, loving and talented soul. He had so much more to share. Our family will always carry that truth forward. Our wish is that the rest of the world who knew him does as well. We are now going to try to make sense of our immeasurable loss privately. We will not be making any more statements. 

Odell’s friends and colleagues offered their condolences:

Not only was Odell building a career in film and television, the young man was also a musician who posted songs to YouTube. 

He had recently contributed to the soundtrack for the 2018 film Forever My Girl.

It is a very sad end for someone so young and with so much promise.
