People Are Already Misusing Their Elon Musk Flamethrowers, To The Surprise Of No One

The Boring company, owned by Elon Musk, has made flamethrowers available to the general public. Twenty thousand have been sold with the first one thousand handed out at the company’s headquarters in Los Angeles, California. For legal reasons the company has named the thing that shoots flames Not-a-Flamethrower.

It didn’t take long for video’s of people using the flamethrowers to be posted online.

Musk seems to think it’s funny and tweeted about it.

Last year the damage caused by 9,133 forest fires in California alone included 1,381,405 acres destroyed at a cost of  over $13 billion, two firefighters lost their lives and twelve more were injured along with 41 people killed and another 199 sustaining fire related injuries.

Yeah, this is hysterical.

The countdown begins for the first lawsuit.

This didn’t stop people from immediately taking to the internet to show off the new (dangerous) toy.

People were expressing a lot of anger at Musk for putting this dangerous product on the market.

But there is hope.

Unfortunately, while Musk was selling his flamethrowers in Los Angeles, this evacuation order was also being posted.

Perhaps Musk should just focus on finishing his cars.
