James Gunn Trolled Fans With A ‘Glimpse’ Of The ‘Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol. 3’ Script—And Theories Started Flying

How do you drive thousands of Marvel fans crazy?

James Gunn knows the key – and it’s a trolling tweet that gives absolutely no hint to the plot but also leaves fans wondering if it does include a hint!

In a tweet posted on July 2, Gunn shared a snapshot of himself sitting in front of what he claims to be the Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 script. The issue is that his computer screen is oversaturated and blurry and he’s holding his hand in front of it.

Gunn’s tweet sent Guardians fans on a frenzy, picking apart every aspect of the photo, hoping to find some clue as to what to expect in the next Guardians movie. A favorite theory that popped up occasionally had to do with everyone’s favorite trickster god from Norse mythology.

Could it be that Gunn’s desk was perfectly arranged as to give away some aspect of Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3? It’s highly unlikely, but that doesn’t stop people from interpreting in a most humorous fashion.

Some people got creative and tried to “enhance” the computer screen. When that didn’t work, they went ahead and sloppily made something up.

Then there are those that got really creative and drew up their own script, though… we’re not sure he knows which movie Gunn is teasing about. Nonetheless, it’s a movie we would watch.

As much as we’d like to think that there is more to this image than just a good old-fashioned trolling, leaving us waiting until we get closer to the 2020 release date for any real information.
