The Brits Were On Fire With Their Signs During The Anti-Trump Protests In London 🔥

President Donald Trump claims to be popular and adored across the pond in the United Kingdom. Before traveling there for a work visit earlier this month, Trump said the following:

“They like me a lot in the UK.”

Well, depending on what one defines as “popular” one of those might be accurate, because there was a giant crowd awaiting his arrival.

Hundreds of thousands of people came together and marched down the streets of London, as a means to protest to his visit to Britain.

Of course, amongst the sea of infuriated protestors, creative and coarse signs are one aspect of a protest that could make anyone laugh. Speaking for past political protests in the United States, signs can range from light and laughable to heavy-hitting, but accurate nonetheless.

London followed the same pattern, and did not disappoint.

Here are some of the funniest, most creative signs from the march:

Turns out, folks (read: hundreds of thousands, at least) in the U.K. loathe the controversial, hateful president as much as many Americans.

Trump has been illustrated as an orange, a giant gorilla, and an infant:

Although he has been compared to the likes of a giant baby and an orange since his campaign began, a gorilla might be a new one.

Londoners touted a giant orange balloon of the president as an orange infant, donning a diaper, and holding a smartphone:

The balloon was a staggering 19-feet, and became a quick attraction and photo op throughout the afternoon. Leo Murray is an activist and served as the brains behind the balloon, saying the following:

“This is a victory. People love it, he hates it, and it’s driven him out of London.”

Murray called the ballon a “symbol of resistance” that, along with the flood of frustrated sign-baring protestors, sends a clear-cut message that Trump isn’t welcome over in the U.K. He continued, explaining that something like this is the only way to get through to Trump:

“The only way to get through to him is to get down to his level and talk in a language he understands — one of personal insults.”

Said balloon has inspired a new meme:

Trump was also compared to one of the most evil people of all time:

Several signs depicted him as a more orange, modern version of the dictator and leader of the Nazi Party, Adolf Hitler.

Local businesses even contributed to the march:

Trump must have appreciated this thoughtful gesture. Think of it as a sort of welcome-present from the people of Britain!

So, as far as being well-liked in the U.K…

Hope that these signs, giant balloon of him as a naked orange infant, and massive crowd of people who can’t stand him clears a few things up.
