Prince George Is Pure Joy In Newly-Released Portrait For His 5th Birthday ❤️

Where did time go?

Prince George, son of Prince William and Kate Middleton, turned five years old on July 21, 2018. Kensington Palace released a portrait of him for his birthday, and you won’t believe the smiling, blond, radiant young boy the son of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge has morphed into.

This is what he looked like just five short years ago:

According to The Daily Mirror, Prince George spends his birthdays having an exciting celebration away from the public eye, while the family also releases a new photo of him each year. The first year, George had a private “little” tea party at Kensington Palace, whose guests included her royal majesty, the Queen, herself.

This year, the royal mint released a new £5 coin to commemorate his five years.

Millions from around the globe are wishing the adorable young prince a happy birthday.

Five years really does go by quickly, and the Duke and Duchess have had two more children: Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis.

We can’t wait to see what George is like when he enters double digits.
