Trump’s Star On The Hollywood Walk Of Fame Was Destroyed Yet Again

President Trump’s Hollywood Walk of Fame star had a run-in with a pickax.

The act of vandalism took place early Wednesday when a man reportedly walked into the area carrying a guitar case, removed a pickax from said case, and set about obliterating the honorary star bestowed upon Donald Trump in 2007 when The Apprentice was at its height.

The man then called police to report his crime but he walked away before they arrived on the scene. He turned himself in to the Beverly Hills Police Department a short while later.

The story unfolds in this series of Tweets from NBCLA reporter Jonathan Gonzales:

Commenters were clearly distraught over the loss of the President’s star:

Since he engaged in politics in 2016, Trump’s star has received a lot of attention including spitting, stomping, dog owners allowing their pets to relieve themselves on it, and even a previous defacement with a sledgehammer.

Eyewitness Patricia Cox told CNN affiliate KCAL/KCBS that she saw a man “going to town” on the ground. She said it was, “like it was his business just to be tearing up the ground. I thought it was work going on over here.”

Peeps liked the guitar case touch:
