Just when you think you’ve achieved success of your own volition, your parents jump in to remind you, “Hey…we’re the ones who made it happen.” Which is precisely what Michael Consuelos’ parents, Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos did upon hearing he booked a guest spot on the teen smash-hit TV series, Riverdale.
“I would like to take this opportunity to remind you…that as your fiduciaries we are hereby entitled to 10% of all future earnings,” joked Ripa on Instagram in a congratulatory post to her son.
Mark Consuelos has been starring on the show during season 2 as the scheming mobster, Hiram. Michael will play young Hiram in a flashback sequence in season 3.

And Mark made an Instagram post congratulating his son without the (visible) reminder of shared earnings:
KJ Apa (Archie) and Lili Reinhart (Betty) will take on the roles of their parents (Luke Perry and Mädchen Amick) too, in the same episode.

We can’t wait to see you shine, Michael, and remember to pay your mom and dad their 10%.
