Model Who Fainted During Kylie Jenner’s Birthday Party Explains What Really Went Down

Australian Instagram fitness model Tammy Hembrow, the woman who fainted at Kylie Jenner’s birthday party before the birthday girl even got there has recovered from the harrowing incident. The culprit? Exhaustion.

In the lead-up to the party, Hembrow was “running on pretty much 30 hours no sleep.”

Yep, that’ll do it!

Hembrow took to her YouTube channel to explain to her fans what went down. She recently split with her beau, and has been throwing herself into her work as a distraction, on top of having full custody of her kids.

In fact, she was so run-down the day of the party, she “was struggling to stay awake, even when I was getting my hair and makeup done — I was literally sitting there falling asleep.” It wasn’t long after her arrival that the combination of jet-lag and alcohol landed her on the floor—while Kylie was still at her birthday dinner with her family at the Los Angeles restaurant Craig’s.

How did it feel to faint in front of A-listers like Nicki Minaj, Bella Hadid, The Weeknd, and Dave Chapelle?

Hembrow said:

I’m already super, super embarrassed about it.

People wasted no time sharing their thoughts, especially about how she was taken away on a stretcher face-down (because vomiting):

And some couldn’t help but see the humor in the situation:

While others seemed almost inspired by her experience!

But just as many found her YouTube video moving:

For her part, Hembrow’s taking it all in stride:

I’m not going let it bring me down, I’m pretty much just going to use it to grow and become a stronger person.

Kylie and Tammy became friends when Hembrow appeared in an ad campaign for Khloé Kardashian’s Good American clothing line. She’s met all of the K-monikered Kardashi-clan, and calls them “super down-to-earth nice girls. They’re just normal people, like everyone else.”

Hembrow seems committed to taking better care of herself, saying in her video:

I read a quote yesterday and it said, ‘Make time for rest or your body will force you to slow down in ways you probably won’t like.’

Solid advice. Get your sleep, kiddos!
