If you’ve ever lived in New York City, or longed to live in New York City, you know about the biggest event of the year. No, we’re not talking about the ball dropping on New Year’s Eve. No, we’re not talking about the Fourth of July fireworks. We’re talking about the Halloween Dog Parade in Tompkins Square Park!
Take a gander at these glorious images from previous years.
But, horror of horrors, this year the beloved event has been cancelled.
The organizers posted this message on Facebook:
People were devastated.

We hope the organizers find a sponsor to pay the insurance so the parade can proceed as planned!
