The resistance against Trump is in full force, and Omarosa is at the helm.
On Monday, Omarosa Manigault Newman released another tape where listeners can hear Trump accusing Hillary Clinton of colluding with Russia.
Omarosa said that before she released this latest tape, Trump went to many lengths to try to silence her.
“He has sicked his entire legal team on me to stop any further release of tapes. He wants to make sure that I’m silenced so I don’t talk about the bribe that Laura Trump tried to offer me for $15,000 per month. They want to shut me down, and so every time like the announcement that I was coming on, my attorney who is backstage got a phone call from his legal team.”
The same day, Manigault Newman added fuel to the fire when she openly speculated about who wrote the anonymous op-ed in the New York Times.
She spoke to Yahoo Finance on Tuesday about how the op-ed read in a familiar manner.
“I took some time and went back and looked through all of my emails, particularly emails out of the vice president’s office, because the first time I read the op-ed, it just seemed kind of familiar to me. After looking at memos and correspondence from the vice president’s office, I’m pretty convinced that it came from that way. Not just because of the term ‘lodestar,’ but because of the style and tone of it.”
As she had said on The View on Monday, Manigault Newman believes the anonymous writer to be Vice President Pence’s chief of staff, Nick Ayers.
She went on to say,
“All of these guys work in these groups together and could see themselves as some sort of hero trying to save the country from Donald Trump, but to me Nick Ayers is the one who has the most to gain from writing this.”
Omarosa also took to Twitter to share her thoughts about Ayers being the writer.
The results are in…

Some people find her guess fascinating.
.@nick_ayers …Miss @OMAROSA just named you as a possible #NYTOpEd #NYTimesOpEd author, ie “someone in the @VP’s office.” Scrap your Friday night plans @VPComDir @vppresssec. LOL @HardballChris @hardball #Hardball pic.twitter.com/oEJIttCT9J

An interesting guess from Omarosa, she suspects Nick Ayers, the COS of VP:https://t.co/o7nlV4xmdm

Many people agree with her hypothesis.
So I’ve mentioned this to a few people but I want to put my marker down before others beat me to it. I will no doubt be totally wrong but my thoroughly speculative guess as to the identity of the “senior administration official” is …

Read this thread and then tell me it’s not Nick Ayers, who is a political savant, insulated enough to go to the NYT, always in the room, not well-known, and is only 36, so he has a career to protect. https://t.co/J22Q1c5Yuo

Not Pence's son, amazingly enough, but his chief of staff Nick Ayers, the fellow who I'd bet any money wrote it. pic.twitter.com/aNutPSLjX1

Overheard at dinner last night: The anonymous NYT Op-Ed was written by Nick Ayers, Mike Pence's Chief-of-Staff. There are many things we have in DC, but secrets isn't one of them. Unless you're talking about the male strip club of the same name.

Nick Ayers? https://t.co/sK9jZsZpNC

And many believe that this could contribute to Trump’s downfall, but at what cost exactly?
All this speculation from every corner of Trumplandia Twitter is brilliant. It doesn’t matter who it is because @POTUS is reading all the speculation. He’ll trust no one by morning and he probably won’t sleep much. Tomorrow should be insane.

#Omarosa thinks #MikePence’s chief of staff, #NickAyers wrote that op-ed. #Lodestar indeed. Personally, altho I’m looking forward to #FEAR (please), I am chortling over #EverythingTrumpTouchesDies
Rick Wilson’s funny.

Is Pence planning a coup of sorts?

It’s a coup – and Pence is the ringleader

Make sure you get out and vote in November to help ensure that the fools are on their way out.
