A Slipknot-Themed Haunted House Is Opening This Halloween Season Because–Sure, Why Not?

Slipknot is known for their heavy metal. But the band, originally hailing from Des Moines, is also known for the wild, macabre masks they often wear onstage. Well, as we head into Halloween season and haunted houses pop up everywhere, Slipknot has announced that they’re teaming up with the Des Moines-based “Slaughterhouse” to create a Slipknot themed haunted house.

Slipknot percussionist and founding member, M. Shawn “Clown” Crahan, stated…

“It’s all about the fans. It’s all about a special experience, making it one-on-one, almost. It really is going to be a moment in our history, in their history. And our history in Des Moines.”

According to the Des Moines Register

“Crahan said the attraction will meld the ‘music, oversaturation, temperature’ that’s become synonymous with Slipknot.”

Some had creative ideas for the attraction…

Others hoped that the haunted house might come to a city near them…

Others decided it was road-trip time…

This haunted house is sure to be a hit!
