‘The Good Place’ Star Jameela Jamil Went To Get A Cookie Off The Floor—And Ended Up Developing Seizures

Jameela Jamil (The Good Place) sat down with People Magazine to discuss her clumsiness, which, apparently is legend.

As she told The Daily Mail:

My nickname is Bambi because of my clumsiness.

I’ve fallen over and broken my ankle, and slipped down the stairs and broken my coccyx. Two years ago I was interviewing Olly Murs and we had a paint fight; I slipped and broke my fall with my face.

And then there was this:

The actress is an open book when it comes to her crazy life and adventures, so perhaps it should have come as little surprise when she described how picking a cookie up off the floor led her to have seizures.

Jamil described the incident in a joking way, saying:

There was a biscuit on the ground.  I reached to pick it up because I eat off the floor. I have a strict 30-day rule. I went to pick up the cookie to have with my coffee on my bed and I knocked myself out on the corner of my table and got a concussion so bad that I developed seizures for, like, two months.

She quickly added:

I’m fine now.

Twitter had some questions.

Perhaps a good bit of advice:

Thirty days, five seconds, same thing.

But this user confirmed that Jamil’s story is no laughing matter.

We hope Jamil is more careful next time.
