The Sims’ latest expansion pack offers gamers a chance for their Sim to rise to fameÛÓand one of the paths to virtual stardom couldn’t be more relevant in today’s career climate.
Coming to PC and Mac Nov. 16, the new Sims 4 expansion pack “Get Famous” will enable players’ Sims to ditch their humdrum jobs in pursuit of celebrity either via an acting career or as a social media influencer.
Although the trailer focuses on the acting track, in a press release from October 9th, EA Studios and Maxis announced:
Sims can also bask in the limelight as an inspiring influencer, live streaming every lavish moment and giving other Sims maximum #FOMO.

The “Get Famous” expansion pack will feature a new town for Sims to climb the ladder to A-lister status.
The L.A.-inspired Del Sol Valley is complete with a park, exclusive nightclubs, and a luxury neighborhood for the rich and famous:
