Industrious Girl Scout Makes Bank Selling Cookies Outside Of Canadian Cannabis Dispensary

In Edmonton, Canada, lives a little girl with a seriously bright future ahead of her.

Nine-year-old Elina Childs pulled a move of stunning genius when she stood outside Nova Cannabis, a cannabis dispensary in Edmonton, with a wagon full of thin mints, tagalongs, and other Girl Scout classics.

Childs sold 30 boxes in under 45 minutes.

Her father, Seann Childs, said he saw it as a learning opportunity for his daughter.

“We were looking at it as an opportunity to educate her on what marijuana is and the fact that it’s legal in Canada now.”

Her dad continued:

“Everybody we met was incredibly friendly, it was a great atmosphere and there was not a single thing going on in that line that I saw that I would just say, ‘Oh, my god, I need to shield your eyes from this.’ Everybody was respectful, everybody was happy, and she walked away from it as this incredibly positive experience as well as selling out all her Brownie cookies. She can go and be happy that she’d done that and help support the Guides too.”

Elina earned over $120 for the Girl Guides, which is the Canadian version of Girl Scouts.

We look forward to hearing about the future business ventures of little Ms. Childs.
