Bette Midler Surprises Fans With Announcement About ‘Hocus Pocus’ Reunion Special

Bette Midler fans everywhere rejoice! The Divine Miss M is on her way to making Halloween a scream—again!

Nearly a month after Hocus Pocus fans found out Freeform would be televising a Hocus Pocus 25th anniversary special, flame-haired OG Sanderson sister Bette Midler has FINALLY! confirmed that she’ll be a part of the festivities. Midler, 72 released a video on Freeform’s Youtube page that teases, “What’s a Sanderson sister celebration without Winifred?” and gave it a quick shout out on her own Twitter account saying:

The two-hour special (which already taped at the official bash on October 2nd at the legendary Hollywood Forever Cemetery) is a wall-to-wall Halloween extravaganza featuring: Hocus Pocus cast mates, exclusive interviews with the Sanderson sisters themselves (Midler, Sarah Jessica Parker, and Kathy Najimy), as well as plenty of Disney alum like event co-hosts High School Musical‘s Vanessa Hudgens and Liv and Maddie’s Jordan Fisher and will feature musical performances from American Idol Season 6 winner Jordin Sparks, and Descendents’ Dove Cameron, and Sophia Carson.

The Hocus Pocus 25th Anniversary Halloween Bash will air as part of Freeform’s 31 Nights of Halloween this Saturday, October 20th at 8:15 p.m. ET. 

Which means, if you’ve somehow missed seeing the 1993 Halloween cult classic before now, you’ve got just enough time to stream this baby in anticipation of running “Amok! Amok! Amok!”
