Jamie Lee Curtis Celebrated The Box Office Success Of ‘Halloween’ With The Perfect Badass Tweet 🔥

While Halloween franchise antagonist Michael Myers might be the one doing the majority of killing on screen, Jamie Lee Curtis is the one KILLING IT (all caps, totes necessary) at the box office

Reprising her iconic role as Laurie Strode for the fifth time, seminal scream queen and Scream Queens actress, Jamie Lee Curtis, broke no less than three box office records over the weekend with the latest incarnation of Halloween (2018). 

According to Variety, Halloween raked in a whopping $77.5 million during opening weekend, making it the biggest Halloween opening of all time (Rob Zombie’s 2007 reboot, which brought in $26 million, previously held the record). 

This eleventh installment in the series also rates as the biggest horror movie opening with a female lead, as well as the biggest debut ever with a female lead over 55. It is also the second biggest October movie opening ever.
