Ryan Reynolds Is Trolling Hugh Jackman Once Again With A Fake Political Ad ????

Ryan Reynolds is known for pranks on social media, especially with “frenemies” like Hugh Jackman.

Reynolds recently posted a hilariously fake political ad trolling Jackman about his upcoming film The Front Runner. In the biographical film, Jackman plays Gary Hart.

Former Colorado Senator Hart was the front-runner for the Democratic presidential nomination in 1987. But allegations about an affair between the married candidate and former beauty queen Donna Rice derailed his political aspirations.

Here’s the video Reynolds made mocking “fake foreigner” Hugh Jackman.

The video sarcastically accuses Jackman of “contributing to unemployment” after he stopped playing Wolverine in X-Men films. In the ad’s voiceover, Reynolds hints that he’s way more deserving of any awards Jackman might be considered for.

Fans of both actors found the fake feud completely hilarious.

Reynolds posted another tweet calling Jackman “a monster.”

Fans had fun with Reynold’s absurd joke about Milwaukee, reminding some of “Wayne’s World.”

People seem to love the Ryan Reynolds/Hugh Jackman rivalry/bromance.

Jackman posted a response featuring his dog pooping on a picture of his dear friend.

Jackman’s clapback game was strong and people loved it.

Though it may seem like Reynolds and Jackman are at odds, they’re actually good friends!

The two worked together in X-Men Origins: Wolverine where Reynolds first played the role of Deadpool to comic fans horror over what writers did to the character. Reynolds often remarks on how bad his first turn as Deadpool was and he exacted his revenge at the end of Deadpool II.

Looks like the fake ad was an elaborate promotion for Jackman’s new movie. Maybe Hugh will return the favor and slander Ryan when his next project is coming out. That’s what friends are for, right?
