Hugh Jackman Is Touring–And Singing Your Favorites From ‘The Greatest Showman’

With a Twitter post on Thursday, November 29, movie star Hugh Jackman revealed the news we’ve all been secretly hoping for our whole lives: he will soon be departing on a world tour to perform the show tunes from his hit movies Les Miserables and The Greatest Showman, as well as various other Broadway favorites!

During the tour, entitled The Man. The Music. The Show, Jackman will travel to the U.S., Europe, Australia, and New Zealand alongside a 26-piece orchestra and 30 singer/dancers. He couldn’t contain his excitement during an appearance on The Today Show:

“This is a big dream come true for me… I’m singing, I’m dancing, I’m telling stories. I love going to a concert when I feel something happened that night that could only happen that night… I’m just gonna have a party.”

Jackman owes his early career to success on the musical stage—he was reportedly cast as The Wolverine in X-Men after being seen acting in a West End production of Oklahoma! He would later go on to win a Tony for his performance in The Boy From Oz, and would even host the Tonys himself in 2004.

This won’t be Jackman’s first time returning to the stage for cabaret show—in 2011, his review Hugh Jackman, Back on Broadway, sold out theaters in New York, San Francisco, and Toronto.

Twitter is just glad Jackman is doing what he loves!

Jackman will be glad to know we’re all scrambling for tickets! This could be a once-in-a-lifetime show.
