If her Twitter presence is anything to go by, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez will hold her own just fine in the world of politics.
Her response cutting down a flippant Donald Trump Jr. has people stanning one of the newest members of congress and the youngest woman ever elected.
Thursday, Trump Jr. posted on his Instagram a meme featuring Ocasio-Cortez.
It described socialism as leading to people eating dogs with the caption:
“It’s funny cuz it’s true!!!”
Friday, Ocasio-Cortez clapped back with a dig at Don Jr., as well as a swipe at his father, President Donald Trump, and his “very, very large brain.”
I have noticed that Junior here has a habit of posting nonsense about me whenever the Mueller investigation heats up.
Please, keep it coming Jr – it’s definitely a “very, very large brain” idea to troll a member of a body that will have subpoena power in a month.

Ocasio-Cortez has become adept at defending herself from personal attacks by conservatives, ever since she won the New York Democratic primary.
Just this week, she took down Mike Huckabee on Twitter after he insulted her comparison of record breaking wins for women and minorities to congress to other landmark events in history like the moon landing.
It didn’t go well for him.
A Green New Deal will take a level of ambition + innovation on the scale of the moon landing. We’ve been done it before, and can do it again.
