Adorable Service Dog Gets Honorary Degree From University—And The Internet Is In Love 😍

One adorable pup learned hard work pays off.

Griffin, a Golden Retriever service dog, was given an honorary diploma by Clarkson University during a December recognition ceremony. Griffin earned his degree by being of service to student and owner Brittany Hawley, who received her master’s degree in occupational therapy.

Hawley, who uses the aid of a wheelchair and is in chronic pain, relied on Griffin for many tasks during her years at the university, including opening doors, picking up items and turning on lights. Griffin received his training through the paws4prisons program, which teaches inmates how to train and care for service animals.

Twitter is in love.

Congratulations to Griffin and Hawley for a job well done!
