The Cast Of ‘Parks And Rec’ Is Having A 10 Year Reunion—And Fans Are Pumped ????

For fans of the show Parks and Recreations who have been jonesing to see the gang again, we have some good news for you.

The entire cast will be reunited in March 2019 for the PaleyFest to celebrate ten years since the show began. The show went off the air three years ago and, for some fans, it’s been hard to get over.

Maureen J. Reidy, the Paley Center’s President and CEO, said about the event:

“Every year PaleyFest presents the best of television, providing fans with a rare behind-the-scenes look at both the hottest new shows as well as beloved classics. We could not be more thrilled to announce our first three selections: two highly acclaimed dramas and a special cast reunion 10 years in the making!”

In a joint statement, actress Amy Poehler, who played Leslie Knope, and show creator Mike Schur said:

“We’re thrilled to be reuniting at PaleyFest. And truth be told, we were all hanging out already anyway, so carpooling will be easy,” said Poehler and Schur in a statement.”

The excitement of the reunion overflowed onto Twitter.

Rob Lowe weighed in on the announcement.

We’re not sure some can wait that long.

There are only three ways to motivate people: money, fear, and hunger — and tickets to see the cast of Parks and Recreations. Oh wait, that’s four things.
