Wild pigs are big.
Like, really big.
They’re not usually “stand on its hind legs and eat out of a dumpster” big though.
But this boar, sighted near a school in Hong Kong back in February, is massive. It even earned the nickname “Hogzilla” due to its stature.
The video—shared on Facebook by author 涂東東 (Tú Dōngdōng)—was captioned 野豬皇 (which roughly translates to “boar emperor”).
Watch that original video post here:
After using Facebook’s built-in translator, it seems like many of the comments reflect a desire to live-and-let-live with the massive porcine dumpster diver.
Many expressed a desire to stay far, far away from the giant boar.
Wow. Would hate to meet that thing in a dark alley.

Guess I’ll be on the lookout during the next trip to Hong Kong.

Oddly, the video apparently has some people spooked enough that they claim it has to be fake.
And some couldn’t help but make a pop-culture comparison.

Whatever the case may be, whether the mighty Boar Emperor of Hong Kong was downwind from Fukushima or just naturally large, we suggest the live-and-let-live advice is best.
