We’re Living For ‘The Good Place’ Star Jameela Jamil’s Secret Golden Globes Gown Hack ????

The Good Place actress Jameela Jamil has a tip for those with an aversion to having drafty legs on the red carpet before an award ceremony.

The 32-year-old British actress from the hit NBC comedy series strutted out in her radiant Monique Lhuillier ballgown on the red carpet for the Golden Globes on Sunday.

But what photographers did not catch was her secret weapon against the chill of January.

She later revealed her remedy for keeping her legs warm while turning heads in her floral-patterned gown.

Jamil said in her tweet:

“An experienced woman wears jeans under her golden globes gown because it’s forking COLD.”

En route to the awards venue at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Beverly Hills, California, Jamil filmed herself hiking up her garment to show some denim-clad leg from the back seat of her limo.

Twitter was enchanted by the revelation, naturally, and lauded her instincts for comfort.

But seriously, how frigid is January in California?

Fans defended her sartorial hack.

Meanwhile, one user was concerned for her safety.

Unfortunately, The Good Place lost out to The Kaminsky Method for Best TV Comedy this year, and Jamil’s fellow castmate Kristin Bell lost to Rachel Brosnahan from The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel for Best Actress in a TV Comedy, according to BuzzFeed.

The comedy may not have swept this year at the Globes but we forking love it and will continue supporting one of the best shows on network TV.
