‘President Pelosi’ Is Trending On Twitter After Buzzfeed’s Latest Report, And We Are So Here For It ????

It’s been a wilder week than usual for President Donald Trump and his administration, but that’s about what we can expect from a man who’s been implicated in numerous schemes to subvert our democratic process and benefit Russian oligarchs.

As the government shutdown—now in its 30th day—continues to upend Washington and the nation at large, the standoff between President Donald Trump and House Speaker Nancy Pelosi has intensified.

The president on Saturday presented lawmakers with a plan giving about 1 million immigrants three years of protection from deportation in exchange for $5.7 billion in funding for his proposed wall along the U.S.-Mexico border, which prompted many on the right to complain that this plan amounted to amnesty for people who are in the United States without documentation. But Democrats have refused the offer, a move which prompted the president to assail Democrats in several tweets, including the following, in which he names Pelosi in particular.

Between the fight over the border wall and Pelosi’s cancellation of Trump’s 2019 State of the Union address (Pelosi has asked Trump to postpone the address as long as the federal government is closed), it’s safe to say that Pelosi is one of the president’s least favorite people.

Now can you imagine how peeved he must have been to see that “President Pelosi” had begun to trend on Twitter? It began just after Buzzfeed News dropped an explosive report alleging Trump directed his former personal attorney and fixer Michael Cohen to lie to Congress about a construction deal for a Trump Tower in Moscow.

That’s just the cherry on top of a crap sundae for the president—and recent polls, in fact, indicate that opposing Trump is only making Pelosi more popular nationwide.

Have a gander:

It’s certainly giving people something to smile about:

And the jokes leveled at the notoriously thin-skinned president just keep coming:

It’s just not a very good time to be Donald Trump, is it?
