Game of Thrones actress Sophie Turner is coming clean about dirty secrets from the set of HBO’s popular fantasy epic.
“Towards season five, they started asking me to not wash my hair and it was really disgusting,” said Turner, who’s character Sansa Stark, endures brutal torture at the hands of Ramsay Bolton in the fifth season of the show.
Her fellow cast members were also banned from washing their hair, but some will transition to wigs for the eighth and final season. What a relief!
Apparently, there’s no shampoo and conditioner outside the vast kingdom of Winterfell.
For 250k an episode I wouldn’t wash my hair either

According to Entertainment Weekly, filming for a season of the show can take up to 10-months. Now that’s commitment!
We’re guessing Sophie’s first shower after each season felt beyond glorious.
Unwashed wig or not, Game of Thrones fans are loving Sansa Stark’s braided ponytail.
Gee! Her hair looks terrific!

I’ve been saying this all week! So nice to know @SophieT sees Sansa’s hair journey the same way I do. “…finally the leader and influencer instead of being influenced by everyone else.” #sansastark #GameofThrones pic.twitter.com/3GSFSE3hb7

We are delusional? Stark girls always had different kinds of braided hair but always simple. Dany's braids are more exagerated.
Cat, Lyanna and Sansa had these styles long before.

As one guy put it:
“For 250k an episode I wouldn’t wash my hair either.”
But others feel a little more sympathetic.
What was the reason. Ohh Lordy I cannot imagine not washing my hair more than few days.. I would be skanky.
