Last week, fans of Game of Thrones laughed themselves silly over a rogue coffee cup that was accidentally left in the frame. HBO later edited that out. Now that fans have noticed that Jamie Lannister’s hand apparently grew back, more jokes have come the studio’s way.
If you’re looking to avoid SPOILERS, back away from this article now.
“The Bells,” the penultimate episode of the eighth and final season of Game of Thrones saw Cersei and Jamie Lannister reunited. They came into the world together and they finally died together, crushed under the Red Keep as it collapsed.
When Cersei and Jamie met in the hall just minutes before their deaths, they embraced. And… Jamie’s formerly severed hand was in view.

That wasn’t the case in the actual episode. However, it was the case in the promotional imagery used after the premiere of last week’s episode, “The Last of the Starks.”
It was still a silly gaffe because everyone remembers Jamie’s hand was severed back in Season 3… and people went all in.

The final season of the show has strongly divided critics, who’ve expressed issues with the decision by its showrunners to truncate it. It’s a decision that quite a few have claimed sacrifices narrative arcs and character development.

I think the writers just hated Game of Thrones and wanted to do everything possible to ruin it. I bet after the finale next week they drive to George Martin’s house and spit on him
