If you haven’t watched the latest episode of Game of Thrones, what are you waiting for? Here there be SPOILERS.
The Simpsons predicted Donald Trump’s presidency, the decline of Toys ‘R’ Us, and it looks like it can add a successful Game of Thrones prediction to the list.
“The Bells,” the landmark HBO series’ penultimate episode, will go down in television history as the episode in which Daenerys Targaryen unlocked her inner Mad Queen and razed King’s Landing.
Viewers had front row seats to a 45-minute depiction of horrific, uncompromising and graphic genocide… and The Simpsons called it years ago.
Yep! The Season 29 premiere of The Simpsons, which aired in October 2017, featured the eponymous family gazing out at a medieval version of Springfield as a dragon burns it to the ground.
Quite a few people caught on.

And then there was the decline of Toys ‘R’ Us:
If you don’t want to know the future, stop watching The Simpsons. They spoil things before they even start!
It could’ve been worse though: The Simpsons could have predicted the Game of Thrones finale… and then where would we be?
