Candace Owens Just Savaged Tomi Lahren On Twitter After She Claimed No One Should’ve Supported Kanye In The First Place

Politics in America has always been a little bit … um … passionate.

2018 has been no exception. We’ve seen fights based on everything from burgers to the wetness of water.

Politics newest point of contention? Kanye West.

Conservative personality Candace Owens is the brainchild behind the Blexit movement, designed to convince people of color to exit the Democratic party. Her name has been popping up a lot lately as the movement gains attention.

Much of that attention came from an announcement Owens made, claiming Kanye West helped her with the design and supports the movement. That announcement started a snowball.

West made a statement claiming he was exiting the political arena because he was used to promote things he doesn’t agree with. That statement got the world talking.

Was this prompted by a change in his mental health status? Has he orchestrated this whole thing? Was he part of some liberal sleeper cell with Omarosa? Was he talking about Trump?

As usual, Kanye’s statements just left people with more questions.

Owens knew she had to say something, so released a statement that read, in part:

“If I had to imagine what it would feel like to have a bullet pierce my heart, it would be exactly like the moment I learned Kanye told the world he felt I had used him.”

“I wouldn’t wish the way I felt last night upon my worst enemy.”

“I never once said that Kanye designed the t-shirts for BLEXIT. This is a lie that seems to have made its way around the world; a lie I would like to again correct for the record. Kanye was completely right to feel used in that regard and as I have done personally, I would like to publicly apologize to him for any undue stress or pain the effort to correct that rumor has caused him, his business relationships, or his family. He simply never designed them.”

“I am a leader, and I would like to lead in this moment by stating that any and all confusion relating to this topic is therefore my fault, entirely.”

“I would also like to publicly apologize to President Trump, as I know that Kanye’s tweets were rapidly misinterpreted as a shot to this administration.”

“His tweets were aimed at me and me only, rightfully, for my personal failings.

I bare full responsibility.”

That statement didn’t sit well with people, especially considering there’s video of her saying Kanye created the t-shirt designs.

Twitter has the receipts:

One person it really REALLY didn’t sit well with was Tomi Lahren.

She took a swipe at Owens and other political figures who are rushing to distance themselves from Kanye West now that he is pulling out of politics.

Tomi hit em’ with a classic “toldya so.”

Candace fired back with a “Grow up and back off or I will end you.”

Did Tomi let it go? Psh, of course not. If she did, you wouldn’t be reading this article. Tomi responded that she would not be dragged into a Twitter war … thus dragging herself into a Twitter war.

Candace then gave the Twitter equivalent of “come @ me!”

Twitter has busted out the popcorn and is here for the show.

We’ll let you know if Tomi responds!
